I am a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in New York City with a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My artistic practice explores identity, memory, and storytelling through drawing, painting, fiber arts, mixed media, and textile techniques. I have experience across a wide range of artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, sewing, knitting, embroidery, weaving, fabric dyeing, textile construction, printmaking, and mixed media. I enjoy helping students explore both traditional and contemporary art practices while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and confidence. Alongside my own studio practice, I have several years of experience teaching and mentoring students of all ages. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, supported fabrication and studio courses, taught elementary school art programs, and led community-based creative workshops. I strive to create a welcoming, hands-on learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, developing new skills, and expressing themselves through art. My classes emphasize creativity, craftsmanship, and problem solving while making art engaging and accessible for every student, whether they are picking up a paintbrush or knitting needles for the first time or building on existing skills.
