Class Description

Bring imagination to life in Sustainable Stuffed Animals! In this creative course, students will transform old clothes, fabric scraps, and other materials into personalized plush creations. Along the way, they’ll learn (or refresh) basic hand-sewing skills, practice simple stitches, and discover how to design patterns that turn 2D sketches into cuddly 3D friends. Students will also have the chance to design clothing and accessories for their stuffed animals while exploring the importance of reusing and repurposing materials. By the end of the course, each student will have a handmade companion that reflects both their creativity and commitment to sustainability. Please note: This class requires sewing supplies and fabric scraps. A materials fee will be included.
