Class Description
Give everyday items a second life in Upcycle and Create! In this sustainability-focused class, students will reimagine the use of recycled materials such as paper scraps, fabric, and household objects to craft unique works of art. Projects may include turning fabric into pencil pouches, bottles into vases, and other creative transformations that combine design with environmental awareness. Each session introduces new artistic techniques and tools for upcycling while encouraging students to experiment with media, textures, and 3D forms. By the end of the course, students will not only have a collection of fun handmade objects but also a deeper appreciation for the potential of reusing materials in creative ways. Please note: A materials fee will be included.
