Dive into the fascinating world of biomes with our Mini Biome Builders class, perfect for K-5 students who love hands-on activities and exploring nature! This engaging course combines science and creativity, allowing students to create and care for their very own mini biome. Throughout the class, students will learn about different types of biomes such as deserts, forests, oceans, and tundras. They will explore what makes each biome unique, including the plants, animals, and climates found there. Students will then have the exciting opportunity to build their own mini biome or terrarium in a jar, choosing from a variety of plants and decorations to make it truly their own. Students will also get to decorate their biome jars using mixed media art techniques, making their projects not only scientific but also beautiful and personal. They will learn how to care for their mini ecosystems, observing how plants grow and change over time.
