Class Description

Discover how art can be used to tell powerful stories in this creative, hands-on class. Students will explore a variety of mediums- such as graphite, watercolor, acrylic paint, and pastels- while learning storytelling techniques that bring characters and narratives to life. Projects may include creating comics, illustrations, or zines inspired by personal stories and favorite materials. Along the way, students will experiment with techniques, develop their artistic style, and gain confidence in using art as a tool for self-expression and empowerment. This class welcomes artists of all levels who are eager to explore meaningful and imaginative artmaking. Please note: A materials fee will be included.
