Class Description
Taught by the internationally recognized Chef Camillo, who was a 2019 contestant on Food Network's *Chopped* and featured chef in *Wedding Cake Weekend!* Together the students and I will recreate the famous British Bake-Off. I will instruct and help prepare a special dessert each week and the students will receive a recipe, cookbook, and chefs hat to take home. Who will win THE GREAT BAKE-OFF? *PLEASE NOTE: Because of the size and nature of the classes the instructor cannot accept students with any allergies at this time. I'm a Chef and Baker - I specialize in plant-based, paleo, gluten-free, kosher, and keto meals. I love food it's my life and love to teach kids and adults savory and sweet culinary classes. Teaching is a passion of mine and I want to share what I have learned over my 30 years in the culinary field - how to prepare meals in a healthier way by not adding all the extra fat, salt, and refined sugars. Born and raised in Brooklyn my mom involved me in her daily culinary endeavors, I learned so much from her. I have Brooklyn in my soul and Italy in my blood, I remember my mother Frances always in the kitchen slicing, stirring, simmering, and baking something special and delicious. Everyday she'd created fresh, flavorful food without once glancing at a recipe. Through it all, what guides me is my mother who taught me that above everything else, - Food is love!
