Class Description
Ready, set, cook! Mini Masterchefs is a playful, hands-on cooking class where students roll up their sleeves and tackle a new recipe challenge each week. Through fun, approachable dishes, young chefs are introduced to basic cooking techniques while exploring ingredients, flavors, and creative presentation in an upbeat, collaborative environment. Each class centers on a featured recipe that helps students practice essential skills such as measuring, mixing, chopping with child-friendly tools, and following step-by-step instructions. Along the way, students learn kitchen organization, teamwork, and safe food-handling habits- all while having fun and celebrating their finished creations. By the end of the course, students will feel more confident in the kitchen, more open to trying new foods, and excited to share their culinary skills at home and beyond. Please note: This class requires access to a sink and basic cooking supplies, including cutting boards, child-friendly knives, and heating equipment such as hot plates. If these items are not already available, the school must be willing to purchase them in advance.
