My name is Jessica Salman and I am a Certified Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Youth Enrichment Educator with more than 20 years of experience working with children from preschool through young adulthood. I hold certifications in CPR/First Aid/AED, ACE Youth Fitness, ACE Youth Nutrition, Zumba Fitness, Strength Training, Aquatic Exercise, Yoga, Pilates, Barre, and serve as a Master Trainer in Cultural Dance Fitness. I am also HIPAA compliant and was honored to be recognized as **America's Favorite Fitness Instructor** in the **Dance Cardio** category through BurnAlong. My teaching philosophy is centered on creating a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels encouraged to participate, build confidence, and discover the joy of learning. I believe children learn best through hands-on experiences that combine movement, creativity, and exploration. In today's digital world, I am passionate about helping youth stay active while developing healthy habits that last a lifetime. My classes blend fitness with creativity through dance, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, musical theater, cultural activities, and introductory foreign language experiences. I design engaging, age-appropriate programs that encourage teamwork, curiosity, self-expression, and confidence. Outside the classroom, I enjoy cooking, baking, creating art, traveling, and learning about cultures and languages. These passions inspire the enriching experiences I bring to every class. My goal is for every child to leave feeling stronger, happier, more confident, and excited to continue exploring, creating, and staying active.
