Class Description
Embark on a mindful adventure with Yoga Explorers! This playful yoga class introduces children to movement, breath, and mindfulness in a way that feels fun and accessible. Students will practice foundational poses such as Mountain, Tree, Downward Dog, and Child’s Pose, along with imaginative animal-inspired poses like Butterfly, Cobra, and Cat-Cow. Through interactive games and creative storytelling, yoga becomes both a physical practice and an adventure in self-expression. Each session also incorporates simple breathing exercises and relaxation techniques, helping children learn how to calm their bodies and focus their minds. With an emphasis on balance, flexibility, and proper alignment, students build body awareness and confidence while discovering tools for mindfulness that can extend into daily life. By the end of the course, children will have developed strength, focus, and self-regulation skills while experiencing yoga as a joyful blend of movement, creativity, and calm. Please note: This class requires open floor space, yoga mats, and a quiet environment.
