My name is Khadija Sahib, and I am a dedicated World Languages educator and a native speaker of both French and Arabic. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Mary Washington and am currently pursuing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) at George Mason University. I teach Beginning French, IB French, AP French, and Arabic at all proficiency levels, including IB Arabic. My teaching philosophy is centered on creating a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels confident to communicate, explore new ideas, and grow as a language learner. I believe that learning a language is more than mastering vocabulary and grammar—it is an opportunity to develop cultural understanding, critical thinking, and meaningful connections with people around the world. As a native speaker of both French and Arabic, I bring authentic language and cultural experiences into the classroom, using interactive, student-centered lessons that encourage curiosity, collaboration, and real-world communication. I value building strong relationships with both students and families, and I look forward to partnering with parents to support each student's academic success and inspire a lifelong appreciation for languages and cultures.
