I am a multi-media artist, teacher, writer, and musician. From a young age, I have always been curious. There are so many interesting things to learn! I am self taught as an artist. I sold my hand made and designed clothes, jewelry, handbags, and other ephemera to boutiques, gift stores, and craft shows when I lived in NYC. I have a BA in English, an MS in Education, and have studied extensive studio art and art history to excel in my craft and work. I was also a full time elementary school teacher and tutor in NY. I also modeled my work in a few fashion shows in Manhattan. Since I moved to PA, I teach multi media art, jewelry making, ceramics, sell and make all sorts of art, tutor writing, poetry, journaling, creative writing, self expression through art and music, and leadership skills to children. I have also been a guest artist speaker in local schools and worked with local communities on how to create art out of recycled materials and “junk.” I believe art is everywhere and try to help others inject it into their lives every day.
