My name is Rachel Genito, and I am a practicing Illustrator in NYC. I have long loved the practice of making art since childhood, and have since deeply immersed myself in the world of art in also the field of education. With my degree in Communications Design at Pratt, I have had the honor of teaching a wide range of students various skills/techniques for over 5 years. My goal in art is to continually inspire. As a professional working artist, I aim to be both a role model to students, but also a guide of unlimited creativity. Each lesson plan is catered to both a diverse range of approaches, but also to each student's personal expressions. The classroom community is integral to fostering a strong sense of confidence for every student's personal educational journey, and I strongly focus on finding every student's strengths. I look forward to continuing the passion of encouraging creativity in upcoming generations of creatives!
