Hi, Im India Sabater, an Arts & Dance Instructor with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts in Graphic Design from California College of the Arts. I specialize in teaching Art & Dance through the lens of history. Introducing art techniques and artists through the historical context of which the art was created. My teaching philosophy is Art, and it's many avenues, are instrumental for children to build their confidence and move through the world in new and creative ways. I endeavor to craft an environment where a child feels encouraged to hone their creative ability with confidence in any medium they are drawn to. Along with teaching, I work as a Designer and Creative Director. I enjoy all roles involving Theater and have been a Costume Designer, Hair and Makeup Artist, Choreographer, and Set Designer. When I'm not in the classroom, you may find me being inspired by many of the live performances throughout NYC.
