Hi, my name is Marya Brice. I am a working actor with my BFA in acting and minor in Creative Writing from Virginia Commonwealth University. My philosophy centers around the concept of play, freeing ourselves to play allows us to become our more creative selves. It is essential to me that all students feel seen and heard in all environments, but particularly creative ones. Brave spaces are ones that allow for exploration, play, as well as growth. I just moved the Philadelphia area from Richmond, Virginia where I formerly worked as a Mentor in a teen Makerspace. When not teaching, I can be found acting, writing or playing the Sims.
