Hi, my name is Kody and I am an artist, designer, and teacher specializing in digital media in all its forms. I previously worked as the Visual and Performing Arts teacher for Vallejo Unified School District in California where I taught 1st - 6th grade. Currently, I am a Columbia University graduate student pursuing a dual degree in M. Architecture and an M.S. in Computational Design Practices. My undergraduate degree was from UCLA with a major in Art History and Minor in Film. In addition to my educational interests I also enjoy drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, and furniture design. I believe every student, regardless of skill level, can leverage creativity to reveal certain truths about the world and themselves. My unique perspective as a graduate student allows me to connect on a deeper level with students and understand what they need to succeed.
