Hi, I’m Shuaib! I’m a youth educator and soccer coach with several years of experience working with children of different ages, personalities, and skill levels. My background includes coaching competitive youth soccer, teaching children in early childhood and recreational settings, tutoring, and developing activities for kids ages 3–12. As a U.S. Soccer licensed coach, I enjoy helping young athletes improve not only their technical skills, but also their confidence, decision-making, teamwork, and understanding of the game. My teaching philosophy is centered around creating an environment where students can learn through doing. I believe kids develop best when lessons are structured and purposeful while still being fun, interactive, and encouraging. My approach combines sports knowledge with my experience working in education and child development. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust activities, explanations, and challenges based on each child’s experience and comfort level. Whether we are working on soccer technique, fitness, coordination, communication, or game understanding, my goal is for students to leave each class feeling more confident than when they started. Outside of teaching, I coach competitive youth soccer and continue to study coaching, player development, tactics, and sports performance. I especially enjoy helping young athletes understand why they are doing something rather than simply telling them what to do. Most importantly, I want my classes to be a place where kids can learn, compete, make mistakes, improve, and genuinely enjoy being active.
