In this hands-on course, students will learn the fundamentals of creating fun and engaging games while exploring the balance of strategy, chance, and storytelling that makes board games so exciting. Through brainstorming, prototyping, playtesting, and refining their ideas, students will develop original games that they can share and play with classmates. Along the way, they’ll strengthen creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, all while gaining a deeper appreciation for how games bring people together. Please note: A materials fee will be included.
