Hi! I'm Diamond, a singer, dancer, and multidisciplinary artist passionate about helping students discover their own creative voice. With over 10 years of dance training specializing in hip hop and ballet with CityDance Strathmore, 6 years of experience in opera and jazz vocal performance at UMD, and a strong foundation in musical theatre, I bring a well-rounded approach to performing arts education. I've worked with students as young as 3 and as old as 16 throughout my career and my M.O. remains the same - let's have fun! Enjoyment is absolutely pivotal to the brains ability to focus, retain, recall, and relax so I try to give each age group both a challenge and a treat per class. My artistic journey has also included teaching painting, drawing, and ceramics, giving me a unique perspective on creativity across multiple disciplines. I believe the arts are about technique and then some— it's also a pathway to confidence, curiosity, discipline, and self-expression Whether we're learning choreography and developing healthy vocal technique or doing sing-a-longs and arts and crafts, my goal is to help every student grow into themselves as a confident, creative individual. I strive to make every lesson engaging, encouraging, and personalized so students feel inspired to take risks, celebrate their progress, and enjoy the learning process. Let's learn!
