Henry W.
Art teacher, 3D teacher, Graphic Designer, Sculptor
New York City
- I speak fluent Spanish.
- I love playing tennis.
- I love technology and trying to keep up with it
I have three years of experience teaching art at an elementary school. Before that, I spent six years working as an after-school art specialist in Brooklyn, New York. I have worked as a sculptor for six years in addition to having a great deal of expertise as a graphic designer. Working as a graphic designer for a point-of-purchase company gave me the chance to work on a variety of projects that expanded my skill set, such as layouts, photo retouching, photography, photo editing, web, 3D modeling, animation, and logo creation, to name a few. I was able to put my sculpting abilities to use and pick up manufacturing and mass production experience while working as a sculptor for a company that manufactured custom-made chocolates. All of these experiences have enriched my art teaching in profound ways. Teaching art is where all these skills come together and where I have the opportunity to draw from my professional experience.
