Hi, I'm Ebony Williams , a Youth educator with 8 years of experience working in a class room or DPR setting In Washington DC were I hold a Clearance to work with DCPS . I specialize in introducing young learners to the joy of Art through interactive, Creative Art -based instructional Based Activity thru Movement Expression and Emotion . My teaching Format centers on the belief that every child Deserves a expressive way to create art thru all realms such as Canvas Painting,Oil Pastels, or Fashion Design Up cycling and Design Etc. Whether we're exploring Art through movement, learning Techniques Textures and also Learning about other Artists Perspective on there work from around the world, an creating our own Mural or Collaborative projects , I strive to create an inclusive environment where kids feel confident to express themselves Thru there Own Creative Eyes . Before teaching, I Do A Emotions Check in to see how the students may be feeling that day before class starts Using a color which describes they current Emotion and explain Why? , which gives me a unique perspective on connecting skills with education.
