Hello! I'm Sarah Gill. I have been knitting for more than 17 years and crocheting for more than 10. I have a B.S. in Psychology and have worked in education for eight years, both in the classroom and through intervention programs. Fiber arts are a useful and fun life skill that can help students in multiple ways. Students build their attention spans, strengthen motor skills, and gain a source of pride as they complete projects. I teach not only stitches and techniques, but also how to use them for a desired outcome. Students come away being able to make their own basic patterns for commonly made objects, such as scarves, hats, bags, and bookmarks.
