Hello! I am Sandra Kammann, a Teaching Artist with extensive experience in a wide range of genres and disciplines. I provide diverse populations (K-12) with fun and innovative programs through a holistic education lens. Each child is encouraged to explore their potential and develop their unique gifts within a positive and supportive community. I love to teach, and am continually inspired by how creative, curious and innovative my students are when given opportunities to initiate and thrive. I led programs in public schools with The Kennedy Center Education Outreach Project for over twenty years, and am a senior faculty member at Studio Acting Conservatory (D.C.), where I teach in both the Young Actors and Adult Programs. offer full day Creative Arts Lab programs during school breaks and summertime, which give children and youth an immersive and interdisciplinary experience which includes theatre, movement, music, storytelling, rhythm circle, visual arts, journalling and Nature explorations. I earned an M.F.A. in Performing Arts and an M.A. in Cultural Anthropology (Honors) from The George Washington University (D.C.).
