Liv D.
Artist and Environmentalist, Photographer
New York City
- I dip in the ocean at least monthly, even in February!
- I have my MFA in Photography
- I play soccer
I am an artist interested in the world around us. I am curious about how humans effect the natural world, and how we can learn to better understand it. With an academic background in both art and science hope to teach what I know about both. In my art practice I often make work about the environment, how it functions, and our own human impact on the world. My work spans photography, video, printmaking and sculpture. I am interested in many different mediums and am not particularly tied to one. Working in an interdisciplinary way is something that comes naturally to me and I hope to continue learning and growing as an artist and instructor.
