Hello! My name is Oviya, I'm a fiber artist and an artist of other mediums such as painting. My practice stems from my love for materially expressing myself and my communities through slow creative processes. Art has not only been an outlet for expression for me throughout my life, but has built my voice and self-confidence. I love equipping my students with artistic skills to build their creativity, technical knowledge, and self-confidence, the same way art has built those skills in my life!
