I am passionate about supporting and inspiring children as they discover their unique talents and creative voices. In today’s fast-paced world, I believe art provides an essential outlet for self-expression—helping children build confidence, manage stress, and explore their ideas and emotions in meaningful ways. I teach a wide range of artistic disciplines, including drawing, perspective, painting, design, collage, and pottery. One of my favorite approaches is working with clay, where children can bring their imaginations to life—sculpting everything from favorite foods and animated characters to their own original creations. I hold a BFA from Parsons School of Design, with a focus in Communication Design and Photography. My professional background includes many years in the creative advertising and computer graphics industry, where I specialized in Photoshop. In addition, I bring over 25 years of experience exhibiting fine art photography and painting. More recently, I’ve developed a deep passion for ceramics, from hand-building to wheel throwing. In 2024, I began sharing this passion with children through personalized, one-on-one instruction, combining technical skill development with open-ended creative exploration.
