Animation, Illustration, Storytelling
New York City
- I am a second-generation Indian immigrant
- I can play guitar and piano
- I still keep in touch with some of my high school teachers
Hi! I'm August. I'm primarily a freelance animator and writer but with 10 years of childcare and teaching experience. I have worked in public schools teaching elective art classes such as "filmmaking" and "art of social change." I have also worked at the Parsons Pre-college program teaching figure drawing and animation. My life goal is to make meaningful illustrated and animated stories for young audiences, and I think teaching my skills to those same audiences along the way is an integral part of my goal.
