Class Description
Animation is the perfect medium for wild, imaginative storytelling- unbound by gravity and full of creative possibility! In this course, students will explore what makes animation unique by experimenting with hands-on techniques such as flipbooks, paper cutouts, and live-action pixilation. Guided by Disney’s 12 Principles of Animation, they’ll learn how movement, timing, and design bring drawings and objects to life on screen. This class is all about experimentation, making it a great fit for both beginners and advanced animators. By the end, students will understand the fundamentals of animation while developing their own original creations that showcase the power of imagination and play. Please note: A materials fee will be included.
