Class Description

This fun and interactive class is the perfect introduction to guitar! Students will begin with the basics- learning single notes, scales, chords, and proper strumming technique. As their skills grow, they’ll play songs that combine chord changes, rhythm, and even optional singing. The course will focus on pop, folk, and rock music, giving students a chance to practice familiar tunes they’ll be excited to play. There will also be opportunities for students to help choose songs, making the learning experience personalized and engaging. By the end of the course, students will have built a strong foundation on guitar and the confidence to keep playing on their own. Please note: Students must bring their own guitar.
