Hi! I'm Yasemin Yılmaz, a Turkish illustrator, comic artist and art educator based in New York City with a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts. I’ve always believed that art isn’t just an extracurricular, it’s a vital language for discovery. Integrating creative expression into children's daily lives gives them a dedicated outlet to further explore their world, build confidence, and tell their unique stories. Getting to build meaningful relationships with students, earning their trust, creating a respectful and joyful environment and witnessing their artistic skills flourish over time is deeply fulfilling and sits at the heart of everything I do.
