Hi there! I'm Noah Rowe-Gaddis, a music educator, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist with a Bachelor's in Music Education from Berklee College of Music. I have experience teaching general, instrumental, and vocal music, as well as musical theater, to K–12 students. My specific areas of focus have been piano, vocal music, woodwinds, and ukulele, with additional experience in musical theater. My educational philosophy is based upon the fundamental tenets of respect and understanding for students. Learning to participate in, create, or perform music and theater is inherently a very vulnerable endeavor—especially for children and adolescents. Because of this, my first priority is always to develop relationships with students and create a safe atmosphere for them to fail, learn, succeed, and explore new artistic skills and forms of expression. It is impossible to teach any student everything they could ever need to know about music and theater. I can, however, provide a pedagogical approach and a safe environment for students to maximize their potential. I come from a family of teachers, including my mother, who is a lifelong educator and former English, drama, and history teacher. As a result, I have been lucky enough to spend most of my life around arts education. This instilled in me a deep passion and reverence for both teaching and the arts. It is an honor to teach and learn alongside my students.
