Class Description

Take your music to the next level in this collaborative band experience! Students will strengthen their skills on instruments and voice while learning to read lead sheets, understand melody and chords, and follow rhythmic cues. Improvisation and song arrangement are also introduced, giving students the chance to add their own creative style to familiar tunes. Throughout the session, students will work together to prepare a set of 3–4 songs that highlight their growth as musicians. By the end, they’ll showcase their progress in a group performance, gaining confidence, stage presence, and a deeper understanding of what it means to make music as part of a band. Please note: Access to instruments is required.
