• I am a singer-songwriter, composer and performer. I love all styles of music!
• I play multiple instruments, including piano, saxophone, clarinet, flute, guitar, and occasionally bass. I love that each instrument has its own distinct personality, and they all help me access and express various parts of my own personality!

Hello! I'm a NYC-native music composer, performer, and teacher! I attended LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts, focusing on woodwinds, and graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a BA in music performance. Since graduating, I've held a variety of teaching positions, including STEM education, after school debate coaching, private math tutoring. In music, I have worked as a private instructor, and performed as part of an educational rock band for toddlers and young children! I believe that learning should be more than intellectual. It should be intuitive and emotional. We learn and apply what we've learned best when we form a personal relationship with the material. Self-expression is so fundamental to the arts, helping us connect with ourselves and with the world around us, and I value making this a reality for my music students. And because of how much I value making learning personal, I do not believe in having one approach to teaching; I am adaptive to the various strengths, learning styles and preferences that students have. I approach what I teach from multiple angles, because this is what helps us all create a rich inner web of associations and impressions of what we internalize. Ultimately, I teach because I want to help individuals discover and become more themselves.
