Hello, my name is Dan Hoffman and I’ve been a performer and musician since I was a young child. I have worked and studied with some of the greatest musicians in the world, and continue to share my experience and knowledge with my work. During and after receiving my bachelors degree in "total percussion" performance at Berklee College of Music, I became a very active performer around New England before relocating to Pennsylvania in September 2026. While in New England I was heavily involved in the performance world of music, as well as musical theater. I also spent 5 years as an educator working for two private music schools around Lowell MA. It was here where first I shared my real world experience with my students. I taught private drum lessons, as well as various musical theatre/improv classes, and various instrumental band/ensembles. My number one goal when teaching is to make the learning experience fun and enjoyable. I believe that the best way to learn something new, is to understand the meaning of the culture and humanity behind the music. And once you have that, the sky's the limit! I believe that music and self expression is one of the most important things for our humanity. I encourage all people to get in touch with that emotion. And of course, have fun doing it! :)
