I am a professional Vocalist, Actress, Author and Playwright with over 20 years in the business. I have a theater company in which I produce my writings and teach acting and playwrighting. Angela Watson is a Grammy nominated artist, poet, award winning playwright, actress and author. She entered the spotlight with her debut album ‘Love Anthology’ in 2009, and the critically acclaimed album began her international career around the world. Since that album, Angela has shared the stage and recorded with many artists, from Opera house to jazz stage, such as Wynton Marsalis, Patti LaBelle, Judith Hill, Josh Groban, and more. Angela, best known for her seamless versality, on Classical and Jazz stages alike and has been called the “La sua voce magica”. (Siracusa Life) In addition to music, Angela’s career has extended into theater and the literary arts. Angela became a playwright in which she was awarded an NAACP award for her co-written play, The Race. Angela is now the Executive Director and Founder of Négritude Theater Company, based in New Jersey and the author of the book “For Girls who daydream and heal”.
