- I've taught martial arts, and I still train, coupled with calisthenics, so I'm always ready for a push-up challenge!
- I'm a huge fan of board games, card games, and video games, and I think a good game can teach just about anything: math, strategy, teamwork, and how to win (and lose) gracefully.
- When I'm not teaching, you'll probably find me cooking something new, reading, writing, or winding down with meditation and breathwork.
Hi! I'm Paul Udler. I hold an M.S. in Special Education from Arizona State University's Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College and am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). I've spent years working one-on-one with children and families in homes, schools, and community settings, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help kids build communication, independence, and confidence. I believe every child can learn and that it's my job to find the path that works for them. Kids learn best when they feel safe, seen, and genuinely interested, so I start with connection before content. I'd rather ask a great question than give a long lecture, because when kids figure something out themselves, it sticks. I bring together a range of interests that don't usually share a classroom. My background in ABA and psychology helps me understand why kids act the way they do and how to encourage positive habits. My martial arts, calisthenics, yoga, and breathwork experience means I know how to get kids moving, focused, and calm. I also use video games, board games, and card games as real learning tools for strategy, patience, problem-solving, and good sportsmanship. Whether we're cooking, reading, writing, or practicing a new skill, every lesson builds confidence along with knowledge. I know how much trust it takes to hand your child over to someone new. My goal is for your child to leave each session a little more confident, a little more curious, and excited to come back. I'm always happy to talk with you about your child's goals and how we can support them together.
