Class Description

Build strength, confidence, and focus in Taekwondo! This traditional Korean martial art combines fast, powerful kicking and striking techniques with lessons in discipline, respect, and self-control. Students will practice head-height kicks, spinning jump kicks, and precise combinations while also learning the importance of focus and calm in conflict. More than just a sport, Taekwondo emphasizes the balance of body and mind. Students will improve coordination, flexibility, and endurance while developing confidence, self-esteem, and respect for others. By the end of the course, participants will gain skills that extend far beyond the mat, carrying lessons of perseverance and peace into everyday life. Please note: This class requires access to a safe open space for martial arts practice.
