- Annika helped edit "Golden Ax" by Rio Cortez, a poetry collection that was celebrated for its originality, humor, and its celebration of the pursuit of freedom
Annika Karody is an musician, actor, writer, and teaching artist based in New York City. She is currently a Tutor and Poetry Workshop Facilitator at Life is Precious: an afterschool program for Latine teens, where she has facilitated workshops for almost two years. She previously worked as an editorial assistant at Penguin Random House. Her time in publishing sparked her passion for helping people find their voices, and her time studying biology imbued her with a deep love of math and science. In her free time, you can find her writing, acting, playing music around the city, and just plain old hanging out.
