My name is Max Swietnicki and I have a Black Belt in Karate (18+ years, with 4+ years instruction experience) and a Bachelor's of science in computer science, focused on game design and development (10+ years) My interests are varied, ranging from Martial Arts, to Piano, Board Game Design, Programming and more. I enjoy learning new talents and enjoy teaching others what I've learned. I am very patient and kind as a teacher, helping others understand without telling them what to do directly. As a game designer, a big part is teaching players mechanics, letting players use and apply them, and guiding them towards mastery without overly punishing them. This is the approach that I take when teaching.
