Hi! I’m Zoe Goldstein, a BFA Musical Theatre graduate and 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) who loves helping young people discover their creativity, confidence, and voices. I’ve been involved in musical theatre since I was seven years old and have experience as a performer, teaching artist, yoga instructor, and childcare provider. My classes are joyful, play-centered, and welcoming, with a strong focus on creativity, connection, and self-expression. Whether we’re acting, singing, dancing, improvising, or practicing yoga, I believe children learn best when they feel safe to experiment, make mistakes, and be themselves. I use games, movement, storytelling, music, and imaginative play to make learning engaging while building real skills. As a teacher, I care just as much about the person a student is becoming as the skill they’re learning. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels seen, encouraged, and empowered to participate, whether they’re naturally outgoing or need a little more time to come out of their shell. I emphasize kindness, collaboration, confidence, curiosity, and celebrating each student’s individual strengths. I believe creativity is something everyone can access, not something you have to be “good at” to enjoy. I want my students to leave class feeling proud of themselves, excited about what they created, and eager to try something new. Outside of teaching, I’m an NYC-based artist who loves reading, mindfulness, writing, sewing, drawing, and exploring new creative projects. I also enjoy long walks along the Hudson River, visiting my local coffee shop, thrifting, and doing trivia with friends. I bring that same curiosity and joy into my teaching, creating spaces where kids can explore their imaginations and experience how meaningful (and fun) creativity can be!
