  • I engage different forms of techniques in art like neurographic and abstract art
  • I like to offer different techniques of art that can help a distracted student feel focused and interested
  • I like to offer different options of projects to students: cartoons, cardboard sculptor, origami related art technique, abstract art related techniques

Carmanie Bhatti is a tri-state based artist, an award winning bilingual poet and filmmaker. Her most recent in-person group exhibits include: The Art of Memory, a research project by the Department of Psychology at the University of Chicago, Chicago (IL), 78th Annual Summer Art Exhibition at Wilton Library, Wilton (CT), The Beauty of New Britain Art Exhibit, New Britain (CT), Breadth and Depth, Earth, Water, Air & Fire Exhibit, a National Juried Exhibition at the Bristol Art Museum, Bristol (RI), a holiday themed art show at Limner Gallery, Hudson (NY), 51st Anniversary Mark Twain Library Art Show (a juried exhibit), Valentine's Day themed LOVE art show at the Watchung Arts Centre, Watchung (NJ), Human Connection themed art show at Danbury Fair Mall, Danbury (CT), 23rd Juried Art Show at Pequot Library, Southport (CT) and, 43rd Annual Faber Birren National Color Show sponsored by Stamford Art Association at The Townhouse Gallery, Stamford (CT.) My approach is straightforward: I aim to simplify the complex so as to allow the true essence to stand out and be valued. In addition, I strive to bring out the beauty of everything that speaks to me—whether it be an object or a topic. This is to say that I paint with a certain approach that maybe carries a different meaning to me than to my viewers. However, I try my best to focus on the perspective and let that perspective speak to the viewers.
