I teach programming, robotics, and math to students at a range of skill levels. My math instruction covers foundational numeracy, in elementary, middle, and high school courses, AP Calculus, and SAT/ACT Math preparation. In programming and robotics, I help students build strong fundamentals through practical projects and clear problem-solving methods. I’m a software engineer and a master’s student in Semiconductor Engineering. I have more than three years of experience teaching private lessons and small groups. I’ve also held leadership roles in collegiate engineering, where I mentored students and learned how to explain complicated technical ideas in plain language. My approach is "systems over symbols." I want students to understand why something works instead of memorizing steps they’ll forget later. We break difficult problems into smaller pieces, build good learning habits, and practice until the ideas click. When I'm not working, I rock climb or read all sorts of books. Ask me what I'm reading!
