Hello! I'm Diana! A current graduate student at GWU in Contemporary Art Practices. This is a fun way to say that I enjoy every type of art and dabble in many practices, having experience in 2D and 3D. Art is the center of society and culture, it's how we learn to express ourselves when words fail. I strive to start conversations in the classroom through art and have students connect with their work and the world around them. Outside of the classroom, I’m always looking for new ways to create and experiment. Whether I’m drawing, working with 3D materials, exploring tattoo design, or learning something completely new like welding, I love the process of figuring out what a material can do. I hope to bring that same sense of curiosity and experimentation into the classroom.
