I am a professional dancer and circus artist, as well as a teacher of 10 years. I hold a BFA in Dance, and have studied all kinds of styles that I pass on to my students for a well-rounded approach. I have taught every age range in many different settings including afterschool, public libraries, and professional-level studios. My teaching philosophy involves creating first and foremost a physical and emotional safe place where my students can feel free to try new things and express themselves. Being creative is encouraged in the practice of taking what is taught and making it your won. Beyond just technique, my students are taught how to uplift each other and believe in themselves- a skill that they can take for life.
