- I have a degree in Theater, and one of my favorite college classes was Oral Interpretation of Children's Literature, where stories came to life through voice, movement, and imagination.
Hi, I'm Bradley True, a musician, songwriter, teaching artist, and facilitator with more than 30 years of experience in music and performance and over 15 years of experience leading programs for young children. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and am passionate about creating engaging, joyful learning experiences that help children develop confidence, creativity, and connection. My classes combine music, movement, imagination play, and group participation in a way that invites every child to be actively involved. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and free to express themselves. Whether we're singing songs, exploring rhythm through movement, engaging in musical games, or creating together through imagination play, my goal is to foster curiosity, self-expression, and a love of learning. As a professional musician and performer, I bring a wealth of real-world artistic experience into the classroom. My background in theater, improvisation, songwriting, and live performance allows me to create interactive experiences that encourage listening, cooperation, creativity, and joyful participation. I specialize in music circles and enrichment programs for Pre-K through 1st grade, using both original songs and beloved children's classics. My approach is inclusive, playful, and community-centered, helping children build musical skills while developing confidence, imagination, coordination, and social-emotional awareness. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me writing songs, performing, facilitating community music events, and exploring new ways to bring creativity, connection, and joy into the world.
