Hello! My name is Magdalena, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as your instructor. I spent most of my young life in Croatia, and made the journey to New York City about six years ago. Before embarking upon my software engineering path starting at The Marcy Lab School, I spent time working in the entertainment industry, which taught me the value of creativity, communication and collaboration. At The Marcy Lab School, I discovered my passion for coding and education. I've had the opportunity to teach students at Marcy, and at Amazon, as well as a summer camp for coding, where I focused on inspiring young minds to explore technology and develop their technical and soft skills. I love working with children and teenagers, as I believe that helping them unlock their potential and discover their capabilities will result in a better world for everyone. My goal is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can thrive, explore new concepts confidently, gain friendships, fail, succeed, learn and grow.
