• My wife and met while performing in a dramatic musical production presented at the Philly Fringe Festival!!
• I perform music from all over the globe! From Flamenco (Spain) to Tangos (Argentina) to the Blues (Mississipi delta) to Punk rock (UK & beyond), I believe the guitars range and diversity of styles is one of it's greatest strengths! I also find studying music from all corners of the globe fascinating!!
• I served as the founding directory of the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society Guitar Orchestra, from 2003 - 2010.

Ross Mann is a classical guitarist, chamber musician and educator whose performances and recordings feature a broad range of music including contemporary compositions, early music and traditional music from the world over. In concert, via recordings, or through his publications and teaching, Ross presents an engaging array of music while offering insights and commentary on their backgrounds and origins. Ross has also released several recordings and is an active arranger and transcriber of music in a wide range of styles. After beginning to studying the guitar as a boy in Atlanta, Ross quickly embraced the entire range of the repertoire, from Baroque lute dances and the Spanish romantics to rock, R & B, jazz and traditional genres from across the globe. An award winning performer and graduate of GA State University (BMus) and the Cleveland Institute of Music (Master of Music), Ross has studied with some of the finest teachers in the world; including John Sutherland, John Holmquist, and Angelo Gilardino and has performed in masterclasses for many notable artists, including Paul Galbraith, Sharon Isbin, Christopher Parkening, and Eduardo Fernandez, Roland Dyens, Jason Vieaux and more. My name is Ross and I teach guitar, songwriting, and other musicianship classes. I am proud to meet students of all ages where they are in their learning journey. Through a carefully planned curriculum, I know how to provide activities that kids enjoy that also provide vital lessons on the fundamentals of music required of all musicians. I have been proud to help students develop their talent, technique, discipline and musicality to become confident musicians for over 25 years and look forward to welcoming your children to guitar!
