My name is Euna Lee, and I am an upcoming senior at Cornell University majoring in Computer Science. I have experience in Java, Python, OCaml, and Unity along with a passion for teaching and inspiring young learners in STEM. Over the past few years, I have developed an interest in teaching programming. I created my own lesson plans and worked one-on-one with students, which helped me discover how much I enjoy guiding others through the problem-solving process. Watching students light up with understanding after debugging a piece of code has been incredibly rewarding. I further honed these skills as a course consultant for one of my CS classes at Cornell, where I supported my peers with understanding more advanced material and advice for their individual projects. To deepen my interest in education, I recently completed a course in Educational Psychology. This class included both theoretical study and fieldwork at a local elementary school, where I worked closely with 5th-grade students. Combined with my previous experience as a teaching assistant for a summer camp where I supported younger children in academic and enrichment activities, I developed the patience and adaptability required for teaching and guiding younger students.
