Hi! I am Princess Riddick from Washington, DC, a dance instructor with over 15 years of experience. My mission is to not only encourage creativity in children, but inspire development both mentally and emotionally through teamwork and dedication. I've had the opportunity to teach my first dance class in high school, become my former middle school's afterschool and summer dance instructor, have my own Kids on the Move hip-hop and step class at Dance Place for 9 years, and become the founding dance teacher at Rocketship Infinity Prep. Movement is an integral part of my life and sharing the transformative nature of dance is significant to my teaching model. While teaching, I also traveled and performed with the Dance Place Step Team as a youth and Illstyle & Peace Productions in Philly as an adult. Outside of dancing, I am an alumni high school counselor with a small, polymer clay jewelry business.
