I'm a music educator, artist, and creative professional with more than a decade of experience working with students, teaching artists, schools, and community programs. I hold a B.M. in Music Business from Howard University, as well as master's degrees in Entertainment Business and Digital Marketing (Full Sail University), giving me a unique perspective that combines music education, performance, creativity, and the business of the music industry. Throughout my career, I've developed and managed music education programs for K-8 students, youth programs, and aspiring musicians, while also working as a pianist, vocalist, songwriter, and peforming artist. My teaching experience includes general music, voice and vocal technique, piano/keyboard, songwriting, artist development, and music business. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable being creative, building confidence, and developing skills they can use both inside and outside of the classroom. Whether a student is picking up an instrument for the first time, wants to strengthen their voice, or is interested in understanding what it takes to pursue music professionally, I love helping them discover what they can do.
