I'm a multilingual teaching artist (French/English/Dutch) who believes the best learning happens through play, storytelling, and genuine curiosity. I've spent over a decade working at the intersection of theater, movement, and education—performing Le Petit Prince at Alliance Française across Europe and China, staging musicals with bilingual students, and leading theater and movement workshops across NYC. I grew up in Paris at the Lycée International, where I was immersed in multiple cultures from an early age—celebrating Sint Nicolas with my Dutch section friends and Sankt Lucia alongside my Swedish and Norwegian classmates. That early exposure taught me that every culture has its own beautiful way of approaching childhood, learning, and creativity. It also taught me that the best learning happens when kids feel safe to be themselves—and that’s what I bring to every class. Theater is a place where you can be brave and silly at the same time. I create spaces where kids feel seen, where mistakes become part of the adventure, and where trying something new feels exciting rather than scary. Whether we're learning French through food culture or building scenes through miming, my goal is for the subject to feel like a great companion—something kids want to spend time with. Teaching both language and theater allows students to build confidence and develop skills that reach far beyond the classroom: empathy, tolerance, openness of mind and heart, and a genuine curiosity about the world and the people in it. It's about becoming global citizens who feel confident crossing cultures and connecting with others—and having a lot of fun along the way!
